From The Telegraph Files
If there was ever a photo that was sure to make the "Things You Probably Won't See These Days" list, it would be this image captured in the wake of a snowstorm in January 1965. It appears that this youthful trio, snow shovels over their shoulders, had plenty of energy left over from (hopefully) helping to dig out their own homes, and decided to canvass the neighborhood to see if any of their neighbors needed a hand with their snow-removal operations. It's a good bet that they offered their services as acts of humanitarianism, but one certainly couldn't blame them if they gladly accepted a couple bucks here and there as a gesture of gratitude. The photo was taken on Nashua's Atherton Avenue, looking north.
