With politics on our minds as we draw ever nearer to the much ballyhooed mid-term elections, a little trip down political memory lane turned up this photo, taken some 51 years ago right here in Nashua. The occasion was President Richard Nixon's visit at the invitation of the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce to its annual dinner, at which Nixon was the keynote speaker. He was photographed meeting Greg Landry, the Nashua High and University of Massachusetts stellar quarterback who went on to play several years at QB for the Detroit Lions.
