From The Telegraph Files

By Telegraph file photo - | Jun 4, 2022

(From The Telegraph files) A guess after studying the various vehicles visible in this photo is that it was taken in the mid-1960s, but there's no question about where it was taken -- the intersection of East Hollis and Temple streets, which is still as busy as it was more than 50 years ago. What helped create traffic jams at the intersection back in the day is that the bridge to Hudson was still just one lane in each direction, a problem that was finally eased with the construction of the Veterans and Taylors Falls bridges in the early 70s.
