Some years ago, Don LaRoche, a member of this team, sent us this photo of the Ward 4-5 baseball team, one of several that played in the city's Ward League in the post World War II years. This photo was taken between 1952-54, according to Don. He was able to identify the players as well, although some by last name only. In front are Romeo Paradis, left, and Nick Mandravelis. Seated are, from left, Tony Mandravelis, Henry Brooks, Roger Leveille, Don LaRoche, Stan Yanis, John Narkunas and Jim Flynn. Standing are, from left, Ron Jean, Schofield, Smith, Bob Migneault, Boyer, Don Narkis, Smith, Paul Nadeau, Dick Marquis, and Coach Sylvio Boucher and his young son. (Courtesy of Don LaRoche)
