By Staff | Sep 16, 2020

Clinton on Saturday expressed satisfaction with Senate progress on a GOP welfare overhaul plan, saying it puts the nation within striking distance of transforming the welfare system. He used his weekly radio address to signal his general support for the shape of the legislation in the Senate. He said a series of Senate votes in the past week have made the legislation more acceptable to him. (AP Photo/Greg Gibson)
