These men and women were part of the office staff at Pennichuck Water Works when the office was at 61 Main St., in a building that no longer exists. The photo is believed to have been taken around the turn of the 20th century, possibly as early as the 1880s. The utility was just 40-50 years old at the time, having been incorporated in 1853. The people's names are unknown.
