Outlet store employee accused of stealing
A Hooksett man was arrested Monday for allegedly stealing from the Merrimack Premium Outlets store where he worked, according to police.
Andrew D. Flood, 24, of 21 Corriveau Drive, was charged with three misdemeanor counts of theft by deception.
The Merrimack Police Department said officers responded July 8 to the Skechers retail store at the Merrimack Premium Outlets to speak with loss prevention employees, who alleged that Flood, an assistant store manager, had made a number of false and fraudulent credit card returns using his personal debit card and keeping said funds.
After further investigation, a warrant was drafted for Flood’s arrest, and he subsequently surrendered to Merrimack police. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear Sept. 29 in a Merrimack courtroom to answer to the charges.
