NASHUA – Almost exactly a year after it closed, Pier 1 Imports on Daniel Webster Highway in Nashua reopened in a nearby plaza.

The store was located for years in Daniel Webster Plaza, 255 Daniel Webster Highway. It closed in late February 2014, and the plaza is now home to a Not Your Average Joe’s restaurant and a Starbucks coffee shop.

On Thursday, Pier 1 Imports opened its doors at 266 Daniel Webster Highway, in the Webster Square shopping center, a space previously occupied by Eastern Mountain Sports, which moved to a different Daniel Webster Highway plaza.

Through Saturday, customers will receive a reusable shopping bag and backscratcher to celebrate the opening.

Nashua’s other Pier 1 store is in Greystone Plaza on Amherst Street.
