By Staff | Feb 22, 2011

MANCHESTER – Catholic Medical Center announced Edward “Ted” L. Dudley III is its senior vice president/chief financial officer.

“We are very happy to welcome Ted to our team at CMC,” CEO Alyson Pitman Giles said. “He brings valuable experience and a new perspective that can only make our organization stronger.”

Dudley recently was chief financial officer and vice president of fiscal affairs at Lawrence (Mass.) General Hospital, where he guided the strategic plan and evaluation of hospital affiliations and physician development, and established a Physician Hospital Organization with 140 specialty and primary-care physicians.

Dudley previously was the vice president of finance at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center and Southern New Hampshire Health System in Nashua.

Dudley has extensive experience in improving revenue cycle operations and has been the chief negotiator in managed-care contracts.

“Catholic Medical Center has an incredible reputation in the region,” Dudley said. “I’m thrilled to get a chance to be a part of it.”

Dudley received his Bachelor of Science in health services, with a minor in economics, from Ithaca College in New York and his MBA from Rivier College in Nashua.
