Northeast Regional Button Association to host its annual from June 7-9

By Staff | May 17, 2019

The Northeast Regional Button Association will host its 35th annual convention on June 7-9 at the Crown Plaza Hotel, 18 Old Ridgebury Road, Danbury, Connecticut. Button dealers from across the country will showcase thousands of antique, vintage and modern designer sewing buttons from the 18th to the 21st century for all collectors.

NERBA was organized in 1985 as a venue for button collectors but it now attracts quilters, jewelry makers, clothing and textile designers and artisans seeking that special accent to highlight their work.

This year’s Button Convention theme is “The Artful Button”.

The National Button Society was founded in 1938 to bring passionate button collectors together, emphasizing preservation and the study of these pieces of art in miniature. There are now thousands of button club members worldwide making button collecting one of the most popular and enduring hobbies.
