2021 Lowell Summer Music Series begins in August

By Staff | May 14, 2021

LOWELL, Mass. – Lowell Summer Music Series, presented by the Lowell Festival Foundation, is proud to announce that live music will return to downtown Lowell starting in August.

Based on current federal guidelines, Lowell Summer Music Series’ primary venue, Boarding House Park, located on the grounds of the Lowell National Historical Park, is not currently cleared to host full-capacity events. The intention is to host all events at Boarding House Park if it is permitted, but Lowell Memorial Auditorium has been secured as a back-up location to ensure there will be live music in downtown Lowell this Summer!

Below is the updated 2021 Lowell Summer Music Series schedule. Shows originally scheduled for June or July have been rescheduled for later in the Summer or moved to the 2022 Season.

“We are extremely happy to be able to reopen the Summer Music Series after so many long months without live music – indoors or outdoors,” said Peter Aucella, General Manager of the series. “We are seeing a real enthusiasm for this and we’re looking forward to doing our part to bring quality concert programs back to Downtown Lowell!”
