NASHUA – College student Grace Brown has been named the Mayor’s Office Artist of the Month for October, November and December.

Brown wrote: My name is Grace Brown, and I’m currently a student at Plymouth State University, majoring in art history.

My interest in the arts started in high school and took off during my senior year when I started taking advantage of being able to show my artwork to a wider audience.

I’m a Gold Key art portfolio winner for the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and a Grade 12 winner for the City of Nashua Recycling Calendar Contest. I also have been involved in the arts at college with my piece titled “Day Dreamer” being displayed in the Museum of the White Mountains’ Student Exhibition.
