Srinivasan works to be showcased March 17

NASHUA – Sugitha Srinivasan will be the featured Artist of the Month for March at the NAAA ArtHub Gallery. An artist’s reception, open to the public, will be from noon to 2 p.m. on March 17. The snow date is March 24 at the same time.
Srinivasan is a self-taught artist who lives in Nashua and usually paints what appeals to her. She draws by inspiration while carefully observing the simple and beautiful characteristics of nature. She creatively expresses her ideas by using acrylics, oils, watercolor, paper, clay, wood, etc. Her passion for traveling and photography also inspires her creative expression while she follows abstract contemporary modern Art.
In this exhibit, Srinivasan will be exhibiting her acrylic and quilling art creations.
Quilling is an art form that involves strips of paper that are rolled, shaped and glued together to create the desired design. Srinivasan hand cuts the paper of her color choice, which is acid free and glazes all the jewelry to water proof it.

She is a juried member of Hollis Art Society for her jewelry, quilling and acrylic painting. She has exhibited in solo shows, numerous group shows and juried shows at the NAAA ArtHub gallery, the Nashua Public Library, Greeley Park Art Show, Grace Chapel Gallery, West Pearl Gallery, Wild Salamander, the Holiday Show in Hollis, the Hollis Social Library and the Beaver Brook Art Show. She has won multiple awards.
Her Facebook page is “Sugitha’s Creativity,” and she can be followed on Instagram at Sugithascreativity.
