Meals will be available Tuesday
Free meals will be offered to anyone in need in the Amherst Mont Vernon and Souhegan Cooperative School District. Food deliveries begin Tuesday and are open to all families, not just those with students in their home. To receive a meal, people can sign up for a delivery at http://bit.ly/sau39foodsurvey.
Lunch deliveries will be made sometime in the afternoon Tuesday after the meals have been prepared, and breakfast for the next day also will be included. The district’s meal program is delivery only with no pick up locations set at this time.
Superintendent Adam Steel said depending on how many people sign up, officials may make adjustments.
