Team Phoenix wins Governor's Cup for second year in a row
NASHUA – Team Phoenix 2342 was recently named a recipient of the Governor's Cup Award at the ninth annual FIRST NH Governor's Cup on Sept. 26 at Plymouth State University. The Governor's Cup is the top honor of the event, recognizing teams that best represent the spirit of FIRST through innovation, teamwork, outreach and robot excellence. This marks the second consecutive year that Team Phoenix has received the award. As part of this honor, all ten of Team Phoenix's senior members received a one-semester tuition scholarship to any New Hampshire public university or community college. Scholarship recipients include: Abinayya Appusamy, Finnian Cheney, Izabela Coughlin, Haider Iqbal, Rishabh Prashant Murthy, Isabella Palomares, Vaishnavi Pullela, Tarun Ravindran, Ryan Saffell and Leena Srinivas.
