How did you celebrate the new year?
Well, the sun again revolved around the earth as we bid goodbye to the year 2025 a couple weeks ago and welcomed in 2026. This time of year, we opt to make resolutions (which most of us do not keep) to lose weight, make more money, be a better person, find a new job and the list goes on and on. I thought it would be fun to delve into New Year’s traditions in various countries around the world. Some of them tie in with what we do here, some do not. I have a direct connection to Irish heritage, as my wife is part Irish, so I thought that would be the first tradition I’d look at.
