Plans to move Gate City Casino in the works
NASHUA - After 26 years on Northeastern Boulevard, there are now plans to move Gate City Casino to the Sheraton Nashua Hotel. The announcement comes nearly three years after the casino underwent a major renovation project which included the addition of 540 historic horse racing machines, a new poker room and DraftKings Sportsbook. According to Delaware North, which owns Gate City and the Sheraton, the project would be divided into two phases: renovating the 337-room hotel as well as expanding the building’s footprint. The first phase of the project would open a 41,000 square-foot gaming space and would be finished by the end of next year. The completion of the first phase would close Gate City’s current location and move operations to the Sheraton.
