NASHUA - The Nash Casino, New Hampshire’s largest charitable gaming venue, presented a combined $1.6 million in contributions to eight New Hampshire nonprofit organizations on May 20. The funds were generated from a percentage of games of chance and historical horse racing machine revenues during the month of April. In March, The Nash generated an unprecedented $1.5 million, shared between eight different nonprofits, for a total of $3.2 million during the first two months. "It’s incredibly rewarding to see the joy, gratitude and outright shock when our nonprofit partners learn just how much was raised in support of their mission," said General Manager Eric Althaus. "We’re thrilled that during our second month of operating we exceeded our opening-month record in the amount of charitable contributions."
