NASHUA - From an original pool of approximately 180,000 couples, residents Alicia and Matty Gregg recently finished in seventh place in this year’s America's Favorite Couple competition. In doing so, they raised $25,000 for the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana. "We are so grateful to everyone who voted, shared our story and cheered us on every single day,” the Greggs said in a joint statement. “Seeing Nashua rally behind us and knowing that support turned into about $25,000 for families facing hunger and for protecting our oceans means more to us than any prize.” Their love story began on Facebook in 2018 while Matty was running across the country to benefit the Firefighter Cancer Support Network.
