Annual Farm and Forest Expo ends Saturday

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire’s annual Farm and Forest Expo is wrapping up in Manchester.
The two-day event that ends Saturday at the Hilton Double Tree Hotel is organized by the state Division of Forests and Lands, the University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension and the New Hampshire Department of Agriculture, Markets and Food.
This year, the Division of Forests and Lands will kick off Smokey Bear’s 75th birthday with a booth focused on wildfire prevention. Other booths will highlight New Hampshire’s 93 state parks, and attendees can purchase gift cards that can be used for camping, park entrance fees, season’s passes and other items.
