James H. Asbury

James H. Asbury passed away March 26, 2018 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family.

Jim was born in Troy, NY, graduated from Nashua High School and received a bachelor’s degree from St. Anslem’s College. He worked his entire life, 25 years with IBM and then with Lexmark and Hello Direct. A man of many talents, he had a passion for woodworking and was a member of the Guild of New Hampshire Woodworkers. Over the years, Jim very much enjoyed spending time remodeling his summer cottages at Pleasant Lake New Hampshire and Janeville New Brunswick Canada. Jim loved fly fishing and was an active member of the Nashua Fly Casting Association. He loved to visit his children and grandchildren, and traveling to Canada and Europe.

Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years Eve Asbury, two children Jamie Asbury (and Kristin) of Simpsonville South Carolina and Allison Green (and Jake) of Muncie Indiana, two grandchildren Amy Asbury of Apex North Carolina and David Asbury of Columbia South Carolina, and his loving brother John Asbury of Nashua New Hampshire. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
