Paul W. Mangan

Paul W. Mangan, 48, of Brighton, MA and formerly of Nashua, passed away Saturday morning, October 26, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Brighton after a brief and unexpected illness.

A son of George V. Mangan of Nashua and the late Katherine M. “Kay” (Gilmour) Mangan, Paul was born in Toronto, Ontario Canada on February 17, 1965. He moved with his family to California at six months old and then to Nashua in 1969. Educated in local schools, Paul was a graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1983 and furthered his education at Plymouth State College where he earned a bachelors degree in business.

Paul has resided in the Greater Boston area for several years and has made his home in Brighton for the past five years. He had been self employed in the floor tile business for a time and was currently attending Mass Bay Community College where he was studying radiology. Mr. Mangan was also doing clinical work in radiology in the Boston hospitals.

Members of his family include his father, George V. Mangan of Nashua; his brothers, David G. Mangan and his wife Wendy of St. Louis, MO and Glen J. Mangan of Bedford, NH; nephews and nieces, Matthew Mangan and Rachel Mangan both of St. Louis, MO; Grant Mangan (his godson) and Nora Mangan both of Bedford; and many cousins.

Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Saturday November 2nd from 2 to 4 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 4 o’clock. Interment will be private.
