Former Bishop Guertin golfer Tommy Ethier of Nashua honored

By Telegraph Staff - | May 8, 2020

Bentley University junior Tommy Ethier (Nashua, N.H./Bishop Guertin HS), the Northeast-10 Conference Men’s Golf Player of the Year, has been selected for the Division II PING All-East Region team for the third straight season by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

Ethier played in five tournaments during a junior season that saw the spring portion of the schedule fall victim to the COVID-19 pandemic. He had a 73.0 stroke average during a fall season that featured a co-championship in the Saint Rose Fall Shootout.

The three-time All-Northeast-10 selection has a career 74.45 stroke average, best in program history. He has shot par or better 18 times during 53 rounds, with eight rounds in the sixties.

Ethier, who was previously voted to last year’s Academic All-Northeast-10 golf team, has also excelled in the classroom throughout his collegiate career.
