Nashua Legion wins again
The Nashua Senior Legion Post 124 team won its second straight game on the home turf at Holman Stadium, another thriller, 2-1, in eight innings over Lebanon, to remain unbeaten in the State Championship Tournament on Saturday night.
Nashua advances to Sunday night’s winner’s bracket finale at 7 p.m. at Holman against Exeter, the only other remaining unbeaten.
Exeter, the No. 2 finisher behind Nashua in District B, knocked off the District A top seed, Concord, 8-6, on Saturday.
Earlier on Saturday, Portsmouth eliminated Sweeney Post, 12-11, and Rochester eliminated Laconia, 3-1.
