Nashua Silver Knights fall to Worcester Bravehearts

After sweeping Worcester in Wednesday’s doubleheader at Holman Stadium, the Nashua Silver Knights fell short in a slugfest against the Bravehearts on Thursday afternoon. Worcester carried a five-run lead into the ninth inning before the Silver Knights made a comeback that fell short.

Nashua belted four home runs by four batters, Joe Bramanti (his first), Jared Dupere (his sixth), Billy Butler (his second) and Benjamin Cowles (his third).

Dylan Jones (Franklin Pierce) continues to lead the offense with a .355 average and 24 RBIs

The Silver Knights are now stand 2-2 against the Bravehearts so far this season.

The Silver Knights are at Pittsfield tonight and return to Holman Stadium on Saturday for a 6:05 p.m. game against Brockton.
