Granite State results

TJ Sheedy came up big at the dish and on the mound, leading the Nashua Rockies to a 12-1 win over the Merrimack Dodgers on April 21 at Merrimack High School.

Sheedy racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Rockies. He doubled in the third and fourth innings and singled in the sixth.

The Merrimack Dodgers couldn’t get anything going against Sheedy, who held them hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walking none and striking out two.

Everything was working for the Rockies lineup in a seven-run third inning.

Brian Thorndike recorded the win for the Rockies. He allowed one run over two innings. Thorndike struck out one, walked one and gave up one hit.

The Rockies increased their lead with two runs in the fourth. Sheedy’s double got things going, scoring Tim Richard.
