Warriors edge Guertin girls lacrosse at soggy Stellos, 8-7

NASHUA — The Bishop Guertin Cardinals came from the high of beating in-state rival Bedford on Friday, blowing away Salem on Monday to being nipped by Division II Winnacunnet on Tuesday at soggy Stellos Stadium.

Ouch. The Cards, who face out of state Moses Brown here on Thursday, got four goals and three caused turnover from Abby Lynn, but still fell to 7-2 on the season, the 6-1 Warriors snapping BG’s four-game win streak.

Elena Marziano had a goal, five caused turnovers, and three ground ball pickups. Bella Dawson and Madi Mendell had a goal each while Sarah Brunelle added an assist. Maddy Eder-Linell had eight saves.

BG’s game vs.Moses Brown will be at 6:30 p.m. at Stellos.
