The Sabers moved to 4-1 as Lauren McCormick had a pair of goals while Katie Casey and Kaylyn Forest each had a goal and an assist. Katie Almeida added a goal while Madison Angulas had two assists. Natalie Nelson played well defensively in front of goalie Clair Foley.

For the 0-4-1 Cavs, who trailed only 1-0 at halftime, Ashley Skey had 23 saves and Cassie Reijgers three.
