The Cardinals improved to 3-2 as they got second half goals from Kiley Deignan and Marie Laplante with assists from Juliana Wooldridge and Meghan Cramb at Stellos Stadium. Cards goalie Caroline Hoffer had four saves, while Panthers netminder Adaeze Obinelo was busy with nine saves for the 1-3-1 Panthers.

Also playing well for South were Emily Durette at midfield and Jess Dukeshire on the back line.
