Wilton escapes upset to advance

The long ball helped the Warriors escape a possible upset, as Wilton rallied from down 4-0 to advance to the quarterfinals. Sarah Holka was 3 for 3 at the plate and had the first home run that brough the score to 4-1. In the circle Holka went all seven innings, allowing four hits, three walks, and struck out 11. Jenna Bragdon provided the second home run for the Warriors, a two-run shot that brought the score to 5-3. Sami Bosquet was 2 for 3 at the plate with the third home run, a solo shot. Going into the seventh, Wilton rallied for two runs in the bottom of the seventh to pick up the win, as Ally Schwab had the game winning RBI. The Warriors will now play Moultonborough on Saturday.
