Anderson House a treasure

By Diane LoRe - Nashua | Aug 12, 2018

If you love Nashua and its great history, then you will thoroughly enjoy a tour of the former Anderson House, at 90 Concord St., currently owned by Thomas More College of Liberal Arts. You will be amazed by the stunning work done by 20 different designers, in support of this fundraising event to benefit our local Community Hospice House, one of New Hampshire’s most treasured resources. The work is stunning and respectful of the character of the home. Each designer’s details reflect the heart of what they do best. It’s been a joy to watch the work evolve, and to see this great home being refreshed. Please make it a point to visit the New Hampshire Designer Showhouse before it ends on Aug. 31, and consider that your ticket fee benefits our local Community Hospice House. Many thanks to the designers, donors and the landscaper for the improvements to this wonderful treasure that many will continue to enjoy. And special thanks to Thomas More College for agreeing to host the Showhouse at their magnificent property.

The Showhouse is open to the public until Aug. 31. It will be open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. You can buy tickets at the door, and you can tour at your own pace. Many of the designers will be there on Fridays. Tickets cost $35 and can be purchased online or at the house.
