The mission statement of the government of the United States do ordain and establish this constitution in order to form a more perfect union, insure domestic tranquility, promote the general welfare, lay and collect taxes and regulate commerce.

The words of the constitution are self-evident. Nowhere does it say:

Cut taxes

Create corporate tax loopholes

Downsize the government

Greed has hijacked the American dream.
