Daniel David McAllister, 70, passed away on August 17, 2026, in Naples, Florida. He was born July 3, 1956, in Paris, France, to David and Alice McAllister.

Dan graduated from Nashua High School in 1974 and went on to serve in the United States Army. Following his military service, he built a career as a technical writer.

Dan lived for many years in Ponte Vedra, Florida, before making his home in Naples, where he especially enjoyed golfing and bowling with his brother and good friends. A private and independent person, Dan valued his family, his friendships, and the simple pleasures of the life he had made for himself.

He is survived by his daughters, Alissa Souza and Emily McAllister; his granddaughter Leah Souza; his sisters, Debra McAllister (Brad Littrell) and Brenda Cloutier (Don); his brother, Douglas McAllister; as well as six nieces and many friends.

Dan will be remembered and missed by those who knew and loved him. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date at the NH State Veterans Cemetery.
