Jul 23, 2022

Emile Samuel (Frenchy) Guerette, 82, a longtime resident of Fallon, Nevada, passed away at home on July 17, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Frenchy was born in Nashua, New Hampshire, on Sept. 1, 1939, to the late Vivianne Moreau Guerette and Roland L. Guerette Sr.

Frenchy is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Carolann Cross Guerette; and their two daughters, Debra (Greg) Wickizer of Fallon, Nevada, and DeAnn (Doug) Johnson of Spring Creek, Nevada; brothers, Arthur (Anita) Guerette of Hudson, New Hampshire, Leo (Norma) Guerette of Fallon, Nevada; and sister Jackie Guerette Maxwell of Fairfield, California; grandchildren Brett and Katie Wickizer, Kelci and Kasey Drinnon, Jacob Wickizer, Garrett and Taylor Johnson, Jeremy and Stephenie Johnson, and Colby Johnson; great-grandchildren Reese Wickizer, Skyler Schobinger, Lynnlee Wickizer, Callum Johnson, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews here in New Hampshire. Frenchy is preceded in death by his parents, his older brother, Roland Guerette, his daughter, Dayna Guerette, grandson, Tyler Pritchard, and nephew, Sam Guerette.

Frenchy and Carol loved traveling throughout the United States to visit family and stop at historical sights along the way. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons-in-law, grandchildren and friends; working in his garden; restoring antique Ford cars; and sharing animated stories without skimping on the colorful language.

A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Smith Family Funeral Home, Fallon, Nevada, followed by graveside services at the Churchill County Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Make-a-Wish foundation in Frenchy’s name.
