Harvey K. Plamondon

Harvey K. Plamondon, 92, died at his home on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. He is the beloved husband of Yolande (Duval) Plamondon with whom he shared 72 beautiful years of marriage.

Harvey was born in Springvale, Maine, on November 8, 1928, and was the son of the late Irene (Cantin) and Jean Plamondon.

For several years, he was employed at Whitney Screw Corporation, beginning as a machine operator and by the time he retired, he was plant manager.

In his free time, Harvey enjoyed making puzzles, fishing/ice fishing, going for walks and also loved to play games. His favorites were Ladder Ball, Cribbage, and Carrom. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting. He was an avid Bruins Fan. He took pride in tending to his property, assuring the utmost care of his lawn. Above all, his family was his pride and joy. He appreciated all the time he could spend with them. He will be deeply missed.

In addition to his wife, Yolande, he is survived by his four children, Kenneth Plamondon of Hudson, Louise Hoadley of North Carolina, Richard Plamondon and his wife Janet of Goffstown, and Mona Lavoie and her husband Ronald of Nashua; his nine grandchildren, Jennifer Lowke and her husband Bryan, Kyle Plamondon, Cynthia Tognarina and her husband Jason, Jill Rioux and her husband Peter, Melissa Carvalho and her husband Brian, Nathan Plamondon and his significant other Kathy Mack, Bryan Plamondon and his wife Georgia, Tracy Farrell and her husband Scott, and Corinne Randall and her husband Allen. He is also survived by his 17 great grandchildren and an additional “one on the way” as well as his great-great grandchild and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Harvey was predeceased by his two siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to Harvey’s Funeral Mass on THURSDAY, September 16th at 10 AM in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W Hollis Street, Nashua. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH.
