Pauline M. Gravelle

Pauline M. Gravelle, 87, died peacefully on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Northeast Rehab Hospital in Salem, NH. She was the beloved wife of the late Roger Gravelle who predeceased her on June 12, 2013.

Pauline was born in Nashua on April 28, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Mary A. (Lavoie) Dobens.

For many years she worked at various companies and an accountant. In her early years she was employed by J.F. Mcelwain and later at Maine Manufacturing until her retirement.

In her free time, she was an avid quilter and crocheter, she would always be making family and friends scarves, sweaters, blankets, and mittens. Pauline also enjoyed trips to the beach and spending time in her floral garden. She was always ready for a seafood meal especially at her favorite restaurant the Lobster Boat in Merrimack. Family and friends were also a high priority for Pauline, she would always attend Roland’s Restaurant in Nashua for lunch every Tuesday with her friends. For over 20 years, Pauline hosted her annual Christmas Party at her home with her family and friends. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her loving family.

Pauline is survived by her four children, Raymond G. Gravelle of Salem, David E. Gravelle of Epsom, Susanne M. Couturier of Nashua, and Daniel Gravelle and his wife Elizabeth of Weare: as well as her seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Vivian St. Hilaire of Merrimack as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Roger, she was predeceased by her siblings, Doris White, Edmund Dobens, and Fredrick Dobens Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to Pauline’s Funeral Mass on SATURDAY, August 28th at 10 AM in St. Patrick Church, 29 Spring Street, Nashua. Interment to follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
