Judith Louise White

Judith White, 84, of Hudson, NH, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Greenbriar Rehab and Healthcare.

She was married for to the late Peter F. White, Jr. They were married for 57 years prior to his passing in 2013.

Born in Lowell, MA, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Marion (Miner) Walker. She was a graduate of Chelmsford High School.

Judith was a homemaker, raising her family, until her return to work in the early 80’s at K-Mart in the Layaway Department. She began her career at the Chelmsford, MA location and later moved onto the one in Tewksbury, MA. She worked there until her retirement. She made several lasting friendships during her many years there.

She was a member of Arlington Street Methodist Church in Nashua, NH.

Her hobbies included gardening, knitting, and shopping trips. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and, since they did not live locally, hearing about her great grandchildren. All 12 brought her great joy.

Judith is survived by her five children, Peter and his wife Darby of Dunstable, MA, Jeffrey and his wife Karen of Manchester, NH, Matthew and his wife Colleen of Pepperell, MA, Roberta and her companion Tom Lancaster of Amherst, NH, and Paul and his companion Wendy Knipp of Seabrook Beach, NH; eight grandchildren, Taylor, Peter, Lauren, Jenna, Matthew, Nicholas, Kelley and Ian; four great grandchildren, Sienna, Vincent, Allesio and William; a sister-in-law Elizabeth “Betty” Walker of Utah; a brother Russell Bill and his wife Marcia of CA. She is predeceased by her brother Alan Walker and sister Myrna Bill. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her services were private.
