Marjorie (Herbert) Lozeau

Marjorie (Herbert) Lozeau, 94, died Friday, July 23, 2021 at the Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. She was born on September 18, 1926 in Ayer, MA, to Francis and Bertha (Robinson) Herbert.

She married Ernest Lozeau on August 20, 1950. They built a family of seven together. They were married nearly 70 years before Ernest’s passing on March 2, 2020.

Marjorie attended high school in Ayer, MA and then went on to St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Nashua, NH. While she attended St. Joe’s, she was an editor for the school newspaper. After graduation, she stayed on at St. Joe’s Hospital as an RN. During her 40-year career there, she took on roles in the Emergency Room, Medical and Surgical Unit, and in the Chemical Dependency Unit. She took pride in her work and had many nursing awards to show for it. Just this year, Marjorie was honored in the hospital’s annual report. When she wasn’t at the hospital, she deeply enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, and all things nature.

Besides Marjorie’s loving husband, she is predeceased by her daughter Kathleen Lozeau, brothers Edward, Bob, and Jackie Herbert, and sisters June Fisher, Grace Wheeler, Violet Woodman, and Lorraine Herbert.

She is survived by son Michael Lozeau and his wife Christina and their children Alexander Efstathiou, Todd Lozeau, Alison and Nick Delyani, Rachel and Matt Cataldo, son David Lozeau and his wife Donnalee and their children Jaime Arbogast, Kris and Molly Lozeau, Spencer and Amanda Lozeau, son Tim Lozeau and his wife Cindi and their children Briana and Sam Bruce, Karena and Drew Maass, and Greg Lozeau, son Bob Lozeau and his wife Betty and their son John Michael Lozeau, Kathy’s husband Lane Fernandes and their son Rylan Fernandes; great-grandchildren Peyton and Teagan Arbogast, Brendan Engberg, Summer Delyani, Natalie Lozeau, Lakelyn Bruce, and Addison Lozeau, 101 year old brother Francis Herbert of Biloxi, MI, as well as many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

SERVICES: A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Joseph The Worker Church, 777 West Hollis St. in Nashua on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 10 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may meet at the church. Interment will follow at Edgewood Cemetery.
