Jane Eleanor (Holm) Macomber
Jane Eleanor (Holm) Macomber, 76, of Nashua, New Hampshire, and Brethren, Michigan, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Jane was born in Derry, New Hampshire, and was predeceased by: her parents, Doris (Johnson) and Edwin A. Holm, Sr. and husband Ralph Macomber (1986). Jane graduated from Pinkerton Academy, class of 1963. She had received certifications in import/export and credit/collections. Jane was a long time employee of Edgcomb Steel and worked at International Paper Box Machinery, Nashua, NH. Jane enjoyed traveling through Europe with her relatives, especially Dieter and Roswitha Theiss. Jane was a long time member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Nashua, NH and was a past directress of the altar guild previously attending Church of the Transfiguration in Derry, NH.
Jane is survived by: her loving companion, John R. Gruizinga, of Michigan, who was with her during her journey with cancer along with her brother, Edwin A. Holm, Jr. (Shirley Webber) of Londonderry; nieces, Debbie Holm of NH, Kimberly (Makan) Amouzgar of MA; great-nieces and nephews, Mia Fayle, Patricia, Cameron, Kian, and Kyle Amouzgar.
John’s mother: Barbara Gruizinga; children, Paula (Dion Kirby), Jacob (Ashlee Skinner), Sarah Gruizinga; grandchildren, Jason, Ryan, Shane, Justin Gruizinga, and Kaitlyn McCaughan; sisters, Mary Tebbenhoff, Bonnie Baris of Michigan, and Patricia Davidson of Florida.
Longtime friends: Audrey (Malcolm) Holden, Betty (George) Cernuda, Sandra Martinson, Debra Milne, Ann (Harry) Burnham, and Susan (Lievens) Folsom; and several cousins and close friends.
Graveside services to be announced at a later date.
