Mary Elizabeth ‘Beth’ Ingeneri

NASHUA – Mary Elizabeth “Beth” Ingeneri, 73, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, April 1, 2021. She is the beloved wife of Peter Ingeneri with whom she shared 48 wonderful years of marriage.

Beth was born in Boston on December 17, 1947 and was the daughter of the late William and Eileen (Bearse) Cordery. She attended Emmanuel College, where she earned her master’s degree in Education.

Beth was employed as a Catholic school principal for 12 years as well as a teacher for 28 years at St. Margaret School in Dorchester, MA and St. Monica School in Methuen, MA until her retirement.

In her free time, Beth was a member of the 4H Club, organized a kids bowling club for 4th to 8th grade students, the St. Margaret’s annual sports banquet, and coordinated the 8th grade student Olympics for the Archdiocese of Boston. She loved to travel with Peter and her extended family. Chatham, MA was a particularly special place for Beth and her siblings. Beth was a voracious reader, devoured books on history and politics, and relished English mysteries and literature. When not traveling or reading, Beth loved to play, and win, at cards and Scrabble against Peter.

In addition to her husband, Peter, she is survived by her brother Robert J. Cordery of Nashua and her sister Karen A. Legee of Nashua.

Beth was predeceased by her brother-in-law, James Legee.

Family are invited to Beth’s Funeral Mass on MONDAY, April 12th at 10 AM in St. Christopher Church, 62 Manchester Street, Nashua. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Nashua. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Beth’s name to Catholic Charities of New Hampshire, 100 William Loeb Drive, Manchester, NH 03109 or www.cc-nh.org.
