David Donohue

David Donohue, 69, died peacefully April 6, 2021 at Saint Joseph Hospital, Nashua, NH after a long illness.

Mr. Donohue was born in Worcester, MA on April 20, 1951 to the late Eileen (O’Brien) Donohue and John Donohue. He moved to Nashua in 1961 living in the family home until his passing.

Mr. Donohue was a beloved middle school teacher and basketball coach for many years, retiring from St. Joseph Junior High in Manchester, NH. He will always be remembered as a kind and caring teacher always going the extra mile for his students. Mr. Donohue was a spiritual man involved in church activities throughout his life. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.

Mr. Donohue is survived by his siblings: Jack Donohue and his wife Rita, Dan Donohue, Jan Durocher and her husband David and Laurie Donohue and her wife Maureen, several nieces and nephews; several grand-nieces and grand-nephews; and his beloved collie, Wendy.

A Walk Through Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 11th from 1pm -3pm in the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home at 50 Ferry Street, Hudson, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 12th at 11 am at the Parish of the Resurrection, 449 Broad Street, Nashua. All are asked to please meet at church. Interment will be held in Edgewood Cemetery, Nashua. All family and friends attending any portion of the service are asked to please wear a face mask or facial covering as well as follow the social distancing guidelines in place.
