Amy Maginn Deck

Apr 3, 2021

Amy Maginn Deck passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday March 26, 2021 at the age of 46 after a courageous six year battle with colon cancer. Amy was born in Rochester, NY and she grew up in Loudonville, NY, where she attended Shaker High School before going on to earn a degree in physical therapy from Russell Sage College in Troy, NY. She lived in Nashua, NH for over 20 years where she established her career and raised two beautiful children.

Amy lit up the world with her bright smile and added so much joy with her humor, offered compassion and healing through her professional touch as a physical therapist, and was a dear and faithful friend to so many people. Most of all, Amy was the best mother in the world.

Through the medical efforts and guidance of Dr. Nadine McCleary and the staff at Dana Farber who helped prolong and enhance her quality of life, she was able to spend more time with her family and friends than originally expected. We are forever grateful for this incredible gift!

Amy is survived by her children Kyle and Alyssa Deck, her parents Tom and Peg Maginn , her brother Alan, her sister-in-law Mary Beth, her nephew Finnley Maginn, and her partner Matthew White.

A mass celebrating Amy’s life will be held at Parish of The Resurrection at 10:30 AM Saturday April 10, 2021.

Mass will be live-streamed: www.parishoftheresurrection.org.

Per pandemic regulations, masks are required, social distancing and occupancy limitations will be observed.
