Sr. Cecile Gamache

Sr. Cecile Gamache, pm, (Sr. Marie Louis-Philip), 87, of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, Manchester died January 3, 2021.

She was born in Somerset, MA on July 14, 1933 to Louis-Philip and Rose Delima (Montplaisir) Gamache. She served in the Congregation of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary for nearly 62 years.

Sr. Cecile earned a bachelor’s degree from Rivier University and a master’s degree from Boston College. She taught in elementary and high schools in New Hampshire. She spent most of her career at Rivier University in Nashua where she served as Professor, Assistant Treasurer and Vice President of Finance and Operations. She retired to St. Joseph Residence in Manchester in 2014.

Sr. Cecile was predeceased by her parents and five brothers, Henry, Louis, Roland, George and Arthur Gamache. She is survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

There are no services at this time. Private burial is at Presentation of Mary Cemetery in Hudson.
