Richard L. Dorman

Richard L. Dorman, 79, of Merrimack, NH passed away peacefully on Thursday November 26, 2020. Richard was born in Exeter, NH on June 11, 1941, son of the late Theodore and Elizabeth Dorman.

Richard worked at Sanders Associates in Nashua, NH for 25 years as a Cost Estimating Supervisor. He then started his own business as a handyman. His love for airplanes and flying encouraged him to build his own plane, the Long-EZ, which he flew for many years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Maureen (Gordon) Dorman, his 2 children, Shannon Dorman of Merrimack, NH and Gregory Dorman and his wife Brittany of Smithtown, NY, the love of his life his one and only grandchild Ethan Dorman of Merrimack, NH. He is also survived by his brother-in-laws and sister-in laws, Robert and Lisa Gordon of Bedford, NH, David and Kathy Teeple of Merrimack, NH, and Kevin Gordon or Merrimack, NH, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice and Nashua Adult Day Health for all the care and support provided during his illness.

A graveside service will be held at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Hudson, NH on Monday, December 7th at 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Richard’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
