Ricky C. Exley

MILFORD – Ricky C. Exley, 62, resident of Milford, NH died unexpectedly on October 26, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Nashua, NH.

He was born in Manchester, NH on October 11, 1958, a son of William (Bill) Exley and Shirley (Brennan) Exley and was raised and educated in Manchester.

Ricky had been employed as an autobody painter for Fine Lines Auto Body in Brookline, NH for more than 30 years. He took so much pride in his work and made sure all the customers were totally satisfied with the results.

He lived for his annual deep-sea fishing trips in the Keys and riding his Harley. Ricky loved meeting people and talking to them. He loved sharing his life stories with everyone he met and was even happier when they shared their stories with him.

He was a loving husband and a devoted dad for 18 years. His patience, his love, and persistence kept the family strong.

Family members include his wife, Mary Pert-Exley of Milford, NH; a son Joseph Pert of Milford; nine siblings, Brian Exley of Stoddard, NH, Lucille Erickson of Seneca, SC, Pauline Paradis of Raymond, NH, Connie Plourde of Manchester, NH, Elaine Hambleton of Alfred, ME, Peggy Theriault of Loudon, NH, Richard Lortie of Port St. Lucie, FL, Dennis Lortie and Denise Reed, both of Manchester, NH; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorial visiting hours will be held on Saturday, November 7th from 1:00-3:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Those attending are asked to adhere to current guidelines by wearing a mask and observing social distancing.
