Betty (Kerns) Statler

Entered into eternal rest on September 15, 2020, Betty (Kerns) Statler of Morriston, formerly of Largo, FL and Nashua, NH.

Betty was born on May 18, 1922, in Akron Ohio, only child of John and Clara (Griffith) Kerns. She grew up in Akron and was a graduate of Akron East High School and Akron Business College. She worked as an Administrative Professional in Akron and at Sanders Associates (now BAE) in Nashua prior to retiring to Florida.

Betty was married to Harold (Bud) Statler on August 16, 1947; they celebrated 53 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2001.

Betty was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Litchfield during her years in Nashua and of the West Marion Baptist Church in Morriston where she was the oldest member.

In addition to her parents and Husband, Betty was predeceased by her Granddaughter, Stephany.

She is survived and lovingly remembered by her children Barbara (Bernard) Cote, Charles (Kim McLean) Statler, Douglas (Dolores Preston) Statler, Beverly (Bob) Small and Becky (CJ) Johnson; 11 Grandchildren and 24 Great Grandchildren.

Private services will be be held in Largo.
