Sheila (LaFlamme) Galipeau

Sheila (LaFlamme) Galipeau, 81, of Nashua, NH, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, while surrounded by her loving family at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH.

She was born October 28, 1938 in Nashua, NH, daughter of the late Francis and Rose (Lavoie) LaFlamme. Sheila was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred Galipeau in 2005 as well as by her daughter, Annmarie Morton in 2019.

At one time, Sheila was employed with Nashua Trust and later was employed with the City of Nashua as a Motor Vehicles Clerk. She enjoyed scrapbooking, reading and collecting Annalee dolls. Sheila loved spending time with her family and friends and found her greatest joy during the Christmas season. It was her favorite holiday and loved to celebrate with her family.

Her loving family includes a son, Steve Galipeau and this wife Patricia of Nashua, a daughter, Donna Hackney and her husband Mike of Plaistow, NH, eight grandchildren, Ami Rich of Nashua, Stefni Crowell of Nashua, Brittni Merritt of Weare, NH, David Morton of Nashua, Justin Morton of Tennessee, Maria Rose DeSisto of Plaistow, NH, Jessica DeSisito of Falmouth, MA and Andrew DeSisto of Falmouth, MA, 11 great grandchildren, Evie, Kira, Kyli, Maddi, Colin, Lucy, Autumn, Payton, Reese, Frederick, and Lucas.

A walk through visitation will be held on Monday, September 14th from 9:00am – 10:30am in the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry St., in Hudson. All guests are asked to please adhere to social distancing guidelines as well as to please wear either a face mask or facial covering. A private service and burial will take place for the family.
