Beverly A. Ansaldo

MILFORD – Beverly A. Ansaldo, longtime resident of Milford, NH, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on July 16th 2020.

She was born in Greenfield, NH on February 8, 1928, a daughter of William and Elizabeth (Hugron) McQuade. She lived most of her life in Milford, NH and graduated from Milford High School, Valedictorian of her class.

Bev had been employed as a telephone operator in the Milford office for a few years and later worked in the office of Dr. Neil Kelly and Dr. Philip Aubrey for 25 years. She was a member of the NH Optometric Association and a para optometric in the American Optometric Association.

She enjoyed volunteering for the Share Program and at the local nursing homes. She and her husband entertained residents at their summer cottage for 10 years. In addition, she enjoyed traveling, painting with her artist friends, and playing bridge several days a week. She belonged to a bowling league and several golf leagues. She especially loved being with her family and playing all types of games with them. She loved cooking, sewing, knitting and entertaining. One of her favorite memories was the “Birthday Club” that she and her lady friends were a part of where they met each month to celebrate.

She was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church, Milford. Bev was a member of the Catholic Women’s Club, the Keyes Art Association and Harley Sanford Post #4368 VFW Auxiliary.

She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Richard “Dick” Ansaldo; her beautiful granddaughter, Kristina Erikson; sisters, Flora Buckman, Doris Rebidue, and Lillian O’Hara; brothers, Joseph McQuade, and Robert McQuade.

Family members include four daughters and sons-in-law, Jane Ansaldo-Church and Korty of Hampton, NH, Gail Ansaldo of Peterborough, NH, Nancy and Kenny Malonson of Wilmington, NC, and Cindy Ansaldo of N. Swanzey, NH; her son, Rick Ansaldo of Harrisville, NH; six grandchildren and their spouses, Todd Chamberlain and his wife Lisa, Toby Chamberlain and his wife Tiffany, Jessica Clark and her husband Steve, Sarah Ansaldo and Jared Miller, Francesca Ansaldo, Katie Hebert and her husband Jerry; seven great grandchildren, Benjamin, Alexia, Dylan, Kinsley, Emily, Noah, and Kenny; many nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 20th at 11:00 am in St. Patrick’s Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford. Those attending are asked to adhere to current guidelines by wearing a mask and observing social distancing. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Share Outreach, Inc., 1 Columbus Avenue, Milford, NH 03055.
