Ronald Vandell

Ronald “Ron” Vandell died unexpectedly on February 20th, 2020 in Deland, FL where he lived for the past 12 years.

He was born in Laconia, NH on August 31st, 1937 the son of the late Wilfred and Lillian (Samson) Vandell and was educated in Laconia and lived there for many years.

Ron lived in Laconia for many years before moving to Nashua, NH where he met and married his late wife Joyce M (Sullivan)(Bleau) Vandell who passed on December 21st, 2008 to whom he was married for more than 40 years.

Ron was a Member of the Lafayette Club in Nashua where he enjoyed cribbage and was a past President of the Cribbage League. He also was a Member of the Deerfield Fair in Deerfield, NH and an avid Sled Dog enthusiast and a Member of the Lakes Region Sled Dog Association. He enjoyed the Redsox, the Bruins and the Patriots as well as all the friends he made wherever he went.

Besides his Parents and wife Joyce he was predeceased by his sister Arlene (Vandell) Decelles, and a stepson Roland H Bleau, Jr and a grandson Michael P Bleau, Jr.

Ronald is survived by his 2 daughters Cheryl L Vandell of Franklin, NH and Karen L (Vandell) Rodonis and her boyfriend Eric Charette of Hudson, NH, his 3 sons Ronald Vandell of Northfield, NH, William Vandell and his wife Suzzane of Franklin, NH and Thomas Vandell from Northfield, NH. Ron had 2 stepsons Michael P Bleau, Sr and his wife Cheryl of Nashua and Timothy R Bleau of Greenfield, NH, a step daughter Katherine S (Bleau)(Tate) Doak and her husband Brian of Nashua.

He had 13 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.

Ron also leaves behind his companion Gayle C Jamusz and his good friend Ross Howes both of Hawthorne Hills in Deland, FL.
