Michelle G. Potter

It is with deep sadness that the family of Michelle G. Potter, announces her passing. Michelle, 67, died peacefully at her home in Hudson on February 13, 2020 . She was born on July 21,1952 in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Albert and Dorothy Ingalls of Wakefield, Massachusetts.

Michelle attended Newburyport High School before becoming a Licensed Nursing Assistant. She later went on to attend Saint Joseph School of Nursing and graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1986 with High Honors. Michelle’s love of nursing and compassion for her patients motivated her to continue with her education, eventually earning an RN certification from Regent’s College. She worked at both Greenbriar Healthcare and Southern NH Medical Center for several years before moving on to work as a Dialysis Nurse for Davita Kidney Care.

Michelle was a compassionate individual who loved animals of all kinds and was always surrounded by her beloved pets. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, camping, reading, and gardening. Michelle also loved watching NASCAR with friends and family, often visiting to Loudon where she was able to attend live events. While she had numerous hobbies, Michelle’s favorite thing to do was spend time with her family–especially her three grandchildren.

Growing up as the youngest of six children, Michelle had a deep love of family. She is predeceased by brothers Albert Ingalls Jr., Ronald Smith, and George Smith, and sister, Catherine (Ingalls) Fournier .

Michelle will be lovingly remembered by her partner Richard Hill of Hudson, her daughters Denyelle (Potter) Klayton and her husband Adam of Nashua and Jamie (Potter) Burke and her fiancé David Decker of Hudson, her grandchildren John Burke Jr. of Hudson and Elizabeth and Nicholas Klayton of Nashua, her brother Lee Ingalls of Melrose, MA , and her goddaughter Stacy (Fournier) Thurlow of Amesbury, MA.

SERVICES: A period of visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 starting at 6:00 pm with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 pm at the Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St. Nashua, NH 03064. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society for Greater Nashua, 24 Ferry Rd. Nashua, NH 03064. The DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St., Nashua has been placed in charge of arrangements. “ONE MEMORY LIGHTS ANOTHER”.
